We participate in many farmers markets and other events, as many of you already know having found us and our soap at one. Timberyard Brewing holds a farmers/craft market pretty much year round, truly a fun event for us. We are particularly fond of their Wolftree “Stout Brewed with Roasted Cacao Nibs and Vanilla Beans”. We asked permission to make a goats milk & stout soap using this favorite.
Gorgeous Full Moon Soap lather. We added Cacao Liquor/paste to the Ghee, the chocolate is definitely there with the roasted cacao and vanilla of the stout. Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Jasmine Oils with this recipe will have you deep breathing, closed-eyed, unwilling to put down. For the side of you that just wants to dance and howl at the full moon. Wolf Moon. You’ll be territorial about this one for sure.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Goats Milk, Stout, Organic Castor Oil, Lye, Grass Fed Ghee, Cedarwood Oil, Organic Cacao Liquor/paste, Sandalwood Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Tussah Silk

Trying to describe the soap to assistant Chloe in a text… an unseen look into our creative process…
“I couldn’t describe the scent. I was literally sitting there with a sample against my nose, deeply breathing, with my eyes closed.
I felt almost feral, a flash back of a wildness, like when I’d ride my horse, no saddle under a full moon in a big field of milkweed. Seeds flying with their white wings, glistening in the moonlight with the scent of crushed grass and dirt, the sweetness of the wildflowers after a warmer day.
The sweat of my running horse, the wind slapping tears from my eyes as I burrowed my hands in my horse’s mane, knees gripping with terror and sheer exuberance.
Brought me back to that.”
