Today we look at Ashwagandha Orange & Spice Scrub.

Ashwagandha has wonderful properties for topical use for skin and hair. This soap has an abundant, thick lather with the organic extra virgin olive oil and organic extra virgin coconut oil. The Organic Ashwagandha really gives it a nice texture and almost a toasted oatmeal scent, with bitter orange essential oil, and a touch of cinnamon leaf essential oil and vanilla absolute to richen and round out the experience. Super fatted to 8% with organic hemp seed oil and organic cocoa butter really makes skin and hair buttery soft.

Soap Goatings On

Lots of people asking for Mother Daughter Sister body butters, and finally got some time to make them. Nearly sold out right away in two days… few left if anyone is interested!

The race was on to prepare for Oktoberfest, and get a bunch of soap wrapped, which we managed amongst the daily soap duties. Many online orders this week, and at the Tiny House on Wheels Soap shop.

Life on the Farm

This week, luckily, on the farm, life was pretty uneventful. No one in season, so not a lot of love songs being belted out at the top of human sounding goat lungs to harass long suffering neighbors. Goats were outside often, eating fallen leaves and enjoying whenever the sun was out.

Bitter sweet- by this morning, all the babies of the season had gone to new homes. Will miss all their fun personalities, but won’t miss the extra 6 mouths to feed!

Where We Were

Last Thursday was the last day of our during the week, seasonal farmers markets, ending with

Orange Farmers Market. Saturday we were at
Canal District Farmers Market, which is always a good market for us. Also, Chad vended at
Oktoberfest at Wachusett Mountain, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday,
Princeton Farmers Market, the last day on the common, was windy but wonderful, with many new customers, and lots of current friends from all over. Will be super nice to move indoors, the Town Hall Annex, next market!
